Coldplay Lancaster Concert reviews
Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks were great
Stevie Nicks' voice is still as captivating as ever, and I adore her. A powerful force on stage, she doesn't quite move like she did 35 years ago when I was mesmerized by her at a Fleetwood Mac concert. I still love her. One of my favorite moments was when she sang Landslide.
Coldplay was Coldplay through and through. They entertained us with great enthusiasm, and we were thoroughly entertained. It was fantastic to hear all the songs performed live, and I found myself knowing all the words. Beautifully singing, dancing, and cavorting, they truly put on a show.
The crowd was amazing, enthusiastic, and loudly appreciative of both acts. Their energy clearly impacted the performers on stage, pushing them to work even harder. It was a fantastic atmosphere.
My only complaint is that at times, the music, particularly the drums and bass, would overpower the singers. While the backup musicians were undoubtedly talented, I came to listen to Stevie and Coldplay, not their accompanists.
